Title: “FAITH” by Nikita TitovWhen: 24.02.–24.03.2024Where: 14 Gagarina Street
From birth, we begin to learn words, as parents and those around us explain the meaning of each one. However, not all words can be fully understood or internalized; their true essence often emerges only through stories or life experiences. In the context of war, words gain new weight, filled with pain, fear, and profound loss. These words are no longer just letters and sounds—they now carry the lives and struggles of countless people who stand in defense of Ukraine.

"These are simple words, but now we feel their immense value because they represent lives, heroism, and actions. These are not empty sounds anymore. So, I just started drawing word by word. Later, I realized it was becoming an entire series," comments the artist in an interview with Suspilne.

Titov conveys complex emotions tied to war and its impact on modern life. The artist skillfully transforms words into vivid images that speak of pain, fear, and a deep sense of loss. The exhibition "Faith" is a testament to profound reflections and the search for meaning during wartime.
