Topic: Strengths and Weaknesses of Multidisciplinarity and Creative Collaborations illustrated through the latest joint project by Olga Tkachenko and Yuliia Vil—an audio-choreographic performance "Madwoman," reflecting on the events in Ukraine.
Yuliia Vil is a choreographer, dancer, co-founder of the ODC dance company, and yoga instructor. She predominantly works in the show industry and performing arts, creating music videos, dance pieces, and choreographic-plastic compositions. Yuliia also develops choreographic content for theatrical performances and collaborates with dancers, actors, singers, artists, and photographers. In recent years, she has embraced a new profession as a yoga instructor, incorporating it into her practice to enhance flexibility and dance skills while sharing her yoga expertise with others.
Olga Tkachenko is a co-author of the project, a multidisciplinary artist, and visual designer. She primarily works with media art, collage, participatory projects, and installations. Olga’s artistic projects have been exhibited in cities across Ukraine, the EU, and the UK, while her graphic works have been published in European, American, and Asian editions. Her key interests include human vulnerability, reflexivity, interaction with others and the world, and individual creativity regardless of field. Olga is currently pursuing a master's degree in Narrative Environments at the University of the Arts London (UAL).
The discussion will be moderated by Kateryna Levchenko, CEO of KRCC.
