Art Therapy as Resistance: A workshop by Mariia Holovan aimed at overcoming the invisible consequences of war through the traditional art form.
Kryvyi Rih Center for Contemporary Culture / KRCC, in collaboration with The State University of Economics and Technology (DUET), invites you to an Art Therapy Workshop held as part of the "Resistance" exhibition.
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to:
● Learn more about the unique features of Petrykivka painting and its cultural significance.● Create your own artwork under the guidance of professional art coach Mariia Holovan.● Master useful art therapy techniques to alleviate stress and support emotional well-being.
We provide all necessary materials, including gouache, brushes, and other tools for painting on paper. Each participant will have the chance to express their creativity and create something meaningful.
Workshop Leader: Mariia Holovan — a psychologist and professional art coach with experience working with children and adults.
