    The Kryvyi Rih Cultural Centre / KRCC invites you to the presentation of results from the urban residency "Kryvyi Rih: Cultural Heritage."

Fifteen experts participated in an engaging program that included:
● An introductory tour of Kryvyi Rih’s cultural heritage sites● Reflection and creation of representations of the visited sites● Discussions and envisioning future possibilities● An educational program featuring thematic lectures on decolonization and new cultural narratives● Preparation and implementation of unique artifacts
The "Kryvyi Rih: Cultural Heritage" project aims to support the preservation and renewal of Kryvyi Rih’s cultural and industrial heritage. It focuses on fostering cross-sectoral collaboration among architects, urbanists, artists, historians, and civil society representatives from Kryvyi Rih and other Ukrainian cities. The goal is to develop scenarios for the city's revitalization, the restoration of its industrial legacy, and the preservation of its cultural heritage, highlighting the city’s unique identity.
Workshop Curators:
● Maria Korobko – Researcher specializing in human-centered and participatory design. Collaborated with the Ukrainian Institute and Cedos, a cultural sector expert at GIZ Ukraine, and worked with NGOs Agents of Change and Mistо-Sad.● Margarita Zharova – Urban space researcher, specialist, and curator of educational programs. She has worked with Agents of Change and Restart.
Educational Program Curator:
● Yevheniia Laptiy – Manager of the Kryvyi Rih Cultural Centre / KRCC.

Project Partners:
The "Kryvyi Rih: Cultural Heritage" project is implemented by the NGO Institute for the Development of Kryvyi Rih and co-financed by the ZMINA: Rebuilding program. This program is supported by the European Union as part of a special call for proposals to assist Ukrainian IDPs and the cultural and creative sectors of Ukraine, with the support of the International Charitable Foundation IZOLYATSIA, Trans Europe Halles, and Malý Berlín.
