When: May 9, 12:00
Where:
Poshtova Library (40 Poshtovyi Ave., Kryvyi Rih)
Please note:
the number of places is limited.

The event takes place within the KRCC Culture Talks project, implemented in partnership with the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House*.
Over the course of two hours, participants will explore what it means to write authentically — not trying to please others, but staying honest with themselves. The first part of the workshop (45 minutes) will focus on fears of self-expression, finding one’s own voice, and shaping an individual writing style. During the practical session, each participant will create their own text and, if they wish, share it with the group.
The event has a therapeutic dimension and will support young people who want to start writing, launch a blog, or take their first steps toward creating their own book.
The workshop will be led by Nataliia Skorykova — a Ukrainian writer, cultural manager, and publisher, founder of the Orlando Publishing House and the NGO “New Voices of Ukraine.” She is a certified instructor of the Jack Grapes’ Method Writing in Ukraine and works as a writing mentor, helping emerging authors find their voice and confidence in writing.
Nataliia Skorykova’s work focuses on the development of contemporary Ukrainian literature, supporting new voices, and promoting Ukrainian authors internationally.
The workshop will become a safe and inspiring space for young people — a place to experiment, speak about what matters, and allow themselves to be authentic.
*The Ukrainian-Danish Youth House is a programme implemented in cooperation between the Danish Cultural Institute and the Danish Youth Council with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
