Title: Language Exercises
When:
July 21 – August 18, 2024
Where:

All the works are consistently dedicated to the themes of linguistic identity, decolonization, and the importance of the Ukrainian language in daily life, as well as highlighting how distinctly we differ from our aggressive neighbor. Admission is free, with prior registration.

"We believe that the perspective of the artists in Language Exercises will help stimulate dialogue within the local Kryvyi Rih community about the significance and importance of the Ukrainian language. This is especially critical now, as Russia steals our cultural objects, destroys books, and attempts to eradicate our culture. We are implementing projects that reshape national consciousness and demonstrate that we exist, and that our culture has a history that cannot be stolen. The exhibition Language Exercises is one of the manifestations of supporting national awareness in the city"

Comments the CEO of the center, Kateryna Levchenko.
