After the three-day “KryvBaz” Literary Festival, which brought together dozens of writers, publishers, poets, and readers, Kryvyi Rih continues the conversation about contemporary Ukrainian literature.
This Friday, we invite you to the public talk “Kryvyi Rih – Literary?” — a space to reflect on the outcomes of the festival, explore how literature emerges in an industrial city, and imagine its cultural future.
Topics of discussion:– How the cultural map of Kryvyi Rih is changing– What legacy the “KryvBaz” festival leaves behind– How to support emerging authors– Why literature is a way to speak about the city and ourselves
The event is part of the “Cultural Friday” series initiated by the Kryvyi Rih Center of Contemporary Culture (KRCC) — a format for open dialogue about art, meaning, and urban communities.
The discussion will be moderated by Kseniia Fursa — cultural manager, journalist, podcaster @osvita_ne_vyrok, and coordinator of the “KryvBaz” Literary Festival.
