The Kryvyi Rih Cultural Centre / KRCC is excited to announce the launch of a fundraising campaign to support the KryvBas Urban Culture Festival.

The KryvBaz Urban Culture Festival is a project dedicated to modern urban leisure. It’s an event that prioritizes interaction and communication, personal and cultural development, creativity, and networking. Every guest becomes part of a culture of good neighborliness.
Kryvyi Rih is often stereotyped as a purely industrial city, lacking significant cultural events that could attract visitors. Through KryvBaz, we aim to make Kryvyi Rih a tourist destination and enrich its cultural landscape. As the cultural map of the country evolves daily and decentralization takes place at all levels, we are living in a historic era that is shaping the foundations of a new Ukraine and Europe. It is essential to remain engaged, align with new narratives, and contribute to shaping the future today.

During the previous KryvBaz festival in April 2024, we organized a lecture series featuring notable speakers, including Volodymyr Nechiporuk, General Producer of Ukrainian Fashion Week; publicist and art critic Kostyantyn Doroshenko; and curator Kyrylo Lipatov. The event also included workshops for children, a Drink & Draw session for adults, a tea ceremony, a wine tasting with Serhiy Stakhovsky, an opportunity to get a portrait in exchange for a donation by Ukrainian photographer Oleksiy Protsenko, a pop-up exhibition of contemporary artists, and a market with Ukrainian brands. The festival received great attention from Kryvyi Rih residents, attracting over 400 visitors. Alongside the local community, we also raised funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and purchased equipment for the military.

We are now launching a fundraising campaign to support the second KryvBaz Urban Culture Festival via the My City crowdfunding platform. By following the link, you can contribute to the development of urban culture, enhance the quality of your leisure time, and safely invest in scaling the KryvBaz project.
